Wallet recovery

Blockchain.com

Recover access to your Blockchain.com wallet when your password, Wallet ID, or two-factor device is no longer available.

How Blockchain.com works at a glance

Blockchain.com is one of the oldest hosted wallets and still custodies funds for tens of millions of users. Your encrypted private keys are stored on Blockchain.com's servers, but they cannot be decrypted without your Wallet ID and password. When any piece of that chain is lost, the funds are still on chain — they just need to be reached again.

Situations we commonly help with

If any of these sound like your case, we've handled it before.

Forgotten password

You remember roughly what the password looked like — common substrings, an old phrase, a length range — but cannot reproduce it exactly.

Lost Wallet ID

Your Wallet ID is no longer in your email or password manager. Without it, the password alone will not unlock the wallet.

Lost or replaced 2FA device

Your old phone is gone and the authenticator app was never backed up, leaving the recovery flow blocked.

Email account compromised or closed

The email tied to the wallet is no longer accessible, so password-reset emails never arrive.

How it works

A transparent five-step process so you always know what's happening next.

  1. Step 1

    Case assessment

We listen to your situation, review the basic facts, and decide together whether an investigation makes sense.

  2. Step 2

    Blockchain analysis

We trace transactions across chains, cluster addresses, and identify exchange touchpoints and intermediaries.

  3. Step 3

    Evidence compilation

Findings are turned into a clear, court-ready report you can hand to law enforcement or counsel.

  4. Step 4

    Authority coordination

We work alongside law enforcement and compliance teams at exchanges to act on the evidence.

  5. Step 5

    Resolution & reporting

You receive a final written summary outlining what was uncovered and the outcomes obtained.

What we'll need from you

The faster we have these, the sooner you get a clear assessment.

  1. 1Your Wallet ID (if you have it) or the email used to register
  2. 2Any partial information you remember about the password
  3. 3Approximate creation date of the wallet
  4. 4Approximate balance and most recent transactions
